The Leap Collection
On September 1st, 2019, Hurricane Dorian destroyed most of the northwestern Bahamas. Days before the hurricane was announced and before all of the grocery stores were completely out of canned food and water bottles, I felt moved to create a painting specifically for aid. Following this intuition, I wanted to create an image of hope, resolve, calm, joy and Relief. When the storm clears, we must come together to pick up the pieces and clear the rubble. In turn, we create a new sense of purpose, humility, empathy, and service. This painting is designed to help those who’ve suffered through Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas. A percentage of the proceeds from the original painting and the prints will be donated to organizations like @kiwanisoflittlehavana and @carnavalmiami who specialize in helping others. ‘reLIEF’ will be showcased this year at #artbasel in ‘Outside the Lines’ with @cicmiami. Prints will be released November 1st. God Bless
Each individual print is crafted using a High Quality Epson printer on 100% Cotton Canvas and hand-trimmed in-house. These prints are carefully Hand Embellished using Sargent Art paints to add the final Mojo touch. There are TWO (2) printing options: ROLLED CANVAS AND STRETCHED CANVAS.
ROLLED CANVAS is shipped to our customers neatly rolled inside a cardboard tube for fast and efficient shipping.
*STRETCHED CANVAS is packed and secured with bubble wrap and plastic wrap and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. This Canvas options comes “Ready to Hang” right out of the packaging!
*Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and signed.
